Clockwork Knight is a good game in that it is a straight-shooting clone of
the Sonic/Mario genre. The graphics are really a showcase for the system
right now. My problem is that I'm just having a hard time warming up to
the main character. He looks silly and isn't nearly as loveable as our
beloved Sonic is. Also, that name, Pepperaruchu or whatever the hell it is
has got to go!

Actually, "The Clockwork Knight" is a french fairy tale.  And Pepperouchou is 
the "hero".  He does save Chelsea, but there is another story that relates how 
Pepperouchou has to fix the clock.

Pepper does have some cute features though. (Watch when he runs!)
And when he stands with his key in the air after spinning the SEGA logo.
