Disclaimer:  I worked with a young Japanese individual for about thirty minutes 
while I was at work.  She knows English, but she is not totally fluent in con-
versation.  Although I must say she knows a lot more English than I know 
Japanese, so I would say she smarter than I am.  If you have more exact trans-
lations of the phrases, please feel free to post and/or e-mail me.  Clockwork 
Knight and the Sega Saturn are Copyrighted Trademarks of Sega Enterprises.

want unless you are a publication whose issues are really thick, but every other
page is an ad.   Unless you give credit where it's due.

In this side-scrolling adventure, EVERYTHING written on the backgrounds 
and characters is in english typeface. (even all the lyrics)  However, all the 
character dialogue appears in Japanese.  Most the characters refer to Pepper-
ouchau as Tongora.  I think this is his last name. 
This is NOT a Faq for the game, so I did not include detailed descriptions of 
the levels and/or strategies.
I am assuming you have the game or have access to it.  :)

			     Betsy's Room
		*****************************************
First Stage, Pepperouchau is talking to a Top who says:
	"This is the first level, you have to keep traveling to the end so we 
	can save her [Chelsea]."  
	"You can continue if you want, but if you don't like it, you don't have 
	to. I'll tell you one skill."  
	"If you press attack once, the enemies fall over, press the attack 
	button again to kill him.  You may also pick them up and throw them."
    
Second Stage, Pepperouchau is talking to a hackysack (old baseball maybe?)
I believe his name is Jean-ja.  He says:
	"Hey you are a Tongora!  What are you doing here, it is dangerous!
         There are many things around here that can hurt you."  
	"Between you and me, let me tell you some blocks can be pushed
         or pulled."  
	"You can stand on the blocks you push, so use your head!"
    
Boss Stage, our clockwork knight is talking to a big framed picture named
Pazure, whose face is made of a mosaic puzzle.  He says:
	"You are the son of Tongora!  My name is Pazure, I heard of you from 
	Jean-ja."
	[We couldn't translate this line very well, I think a little voice in
        our Pazure's head is wondering about Pepperouchau.]
	"The boss waiting for you is protecting himself with his hat, but it is 
	too big.  Wait for him to fall down, then attack."

			 Solitare Roulette 
		*****************************************
The only other woman in the game besides Chelsea is a Spanish-looking
perfume bottle.  I'll call her Rita for convienence. Rita says:
	"Hi Tongora, let's start.  You can bet crowns [bottle caps],
        up to three.  Let's start."
        
Here you get four choices, these translations are relative to
their position on the screen.  
	"Quit Game"                     "Bet 3 if you are a real man."

	"Be cautious, bet 1."           "How about 2?"
    
After whichever one you pick, Rita says:  
	"Ok, choose a box.  You can move <- -> use the C button to select.
        Are you ready?"                 
        
If you pick the wrong box, a character made out of a top says:
	"Nothing!"
    
If you quit, Rita says:
	"Leaving so soon?  Collect more crowns and come back later."

			     Kevin's Room 
		*****************************************
Third Stage: our knight is talking to the top who says: 
	"Welcome back.  It gets harder, but you can do it if you
        get help from other people."  
	"Toys cannot move without batteries, first put batteries in."  
	"Push the batteries in the boxes, then stand on the switch."

Forth Stage: our knight is talking to the hackysack. who says: 
	"I'll tell you something good:  Ride the front of the trains,
        it's safer.  Also duck down low and protect yourself." 
	"Move the block, and ride a different train, though
        it might be harder."  
	"If you miss a train jump from block to block."
    
Boss Stage: Pepperouchau is talking to the purple knight
[his father], who says:
	"Welcome, I'm very glad to see you, my son. From here
        a bad enemy awaits.  His name is 'Double Jetter.'" 
	"He's a robot, a new product. [toy]  His weak point is
        his chest.  Show him our family's power!"

			     The Kitchen 
		*****************************************
Fifth Stage:  Pepperouchau is talking to the top again.  He says:
	"The kitchen is very slippery, be careful we don't have
        any protection."  
	"The gas stove can burn everything, be careful.
        Around this area people attack suddenly from the background,
        so don't lose."
        
Sixth Stage: Pepperouchau is talking to the ball again.  He says:
	"Hi Tongara, your family is not used to the water,
        if you touch it, you  will break."  
	"Water keeps going up and down, jump to dishes
        or sponges for safety."  
	"By the way, you can see many pipes.  You should go in these."
    
Boss Stage: Pepperouchau is talking to Pazure again.  He says:
	"Since you are trying to rescur someone, please keep advised..."  
	"The chef of the kitchen is protecting his body with a pot.
        Keep attacking his body."  
	"Courage can be a sword, I hope you beat them all!"

			      The Attic 
		*****************************************
Seventh Stage: Pepperouchau is talking to the top again.  He says:
	"Tongara, I don't know exactly who is waiting for you,
        but he's really hard."  
	"I'll tell you a big trick, attack the other guys while
        he is dizzy."  
	"When he's dizzy, you don't have to be afraid only when
        he wakes up."
        
Eighth Stage: Pepperouchau is talking to Pazure again.  He says:
	"Hi Tongara, The Attic is a big mess, you have to be cautious,
        but usually you figure it out."  
	"There are many secret boxes, you may have to repeat some areas."  
	"Between you and me, you should be a real man, Ms. Chealsea
        is waiting."
    
Boss Stage:  Pepperouchau is talking to the Ball again.  He says:
	"Hi Tongara, listen carefully, on easy level Iron Kong X
        is the last enemy."  
	"I'll tell you a good thing:  The house has two floors,
        so if there is a floor on the bottom, we're light so we will
        be alright if we fall."  
	"Since he's heavy, he will break from the fall."

			       The Ending 
		*****************************************
				"BUT!...."
		     "Chelsea never opened her eyes!"
