Leaving 1995 and entering 1996 meant pretty much leaving Tongara and the rest of the toys behind. With the second game releasing back in the Summer of 95 in Japan/the October of 95 in Europe (and in the USA in February 96), and the special compilation title “Pepperouchau no Fukubukuro” releasing in mid-December of 1995, the future seemed uncertain for the franchise.

As time went along, it was thought that everything was done and SEGA had simply moved on without Clockwork Knight, but in 2004 a huge discovery was made… a seemingly unknown Clockwork Knight game for the Sega Saturn! On this page, we’ll look into this unreleased title, the signs that were missed along the way, and the VERY interesting, colvoluded story of how it finally made it’s way to the public.
